Feast or famine lately in taking pictures. I hope that I am not boring you. These are other pictures taken at Gibbs Garden yesterday.

Gibbs Garden opened two week early due the the warmer weather causing the daffodils to blossom early. I understand that there is about a 3-4 week period that the daffodils will cycle through Gibbs Gardens due to the species and other conditions. As the familiar Chicago mantra says, "Go early; Go often!" I know... it is "Vote early; Vote Often!"
There are some 20,000,000 daffodils, which reproduce themselves yearly. I forgot how many different varieties are there.
F/Y/I: The last picture is of a Crepe Myrtle. I know that it does not relate to the daffodils, but I liked the shot.

The birds are coming back after an hiatus. I got a couple of pictures of my favorite... Woody Woodpecker. I could not resist putting a caption on the Purple Finches.

I need to be more active in taking pictures instead of waiting for an opportunity to come. Today's pictures are a result. Often, I will come home and Linda will say to me, "Do you notice anything different?" Usually, this means that she has been changing decoration in the house. There are the regular times when this happens, such as, Christmas to Winter, Winter to Valentine's Day and so on... She keeps me on my toes.
The first three pictures are from our dining room. The 'Home Sweet Home' is from a runner on the table and plates are one of her favorite things along with bunnies, birdhouses, and again, on and on... The bird is a Tufted Titmouse in our back yard.

We went to Life University in Marietta, GA on Monday afternoon to see the 'Old Village," which are buildings that have been moved here from all around the Southeast. I knew that there was a Grist Mill there, but not a village. Everything, the wood timbers, the stones, and other items were dismantled, numbered, transported, and then re-assembled at Life University.

Linda and I took a trip to Blue Ridge, GA on Monday. It was sunny, but windy and chilly. We spent most of the time going into the shops on the main street. I have come to realize that my preference for landscape and nature hinders me from taking photos of other venues. I only took a few pictures which were for the photo challenge of the month; 'RED.' I will broaden my interest.
Here are what I chose from for my entry. The first two were from the previous post and were the top two choices of those who responded. The last two are from our trip to Blue Ridge.
First, it a mural outside the Auld Dubliner Pub on Fleet Street in Dublin, Ireland.
This is set of row houses Galway, Ireland taken from across the river near the harbor.
The red boot always caught my eye as we traveled up the Zell Miller Mountain highway.
This is the front of an old electric trolley that now serves as a dining room the the restaurant in Ballground, GA named The Burger Bus; go figure. I believe that it is one of the ones that served Atlanta in the past. It was number 1386 and manufactured by Pullman.
I appreciated your responses and picture number two eeked out a win from number 1.

Our sub-division photo club disbanded and I found a club in Forsyth County. Each month, there is a 'Photo Challenge" and for the next meeting the topic is RED. Only one photo can be submitted and it has to be taken within the past two years.
I prefer current picture, which is the challenge and I will be looking to do that, however, I did look at some photos that were taken last year and if you to choose just one to enter, which would it be?
It is best to click on picture once to enlarge it and it will show the colors better.
