We went to Life University in Marietta, GA on Monday afternoon to see the 'Old Village," which are buildings that have been moved here from all around the Southeast.  I knew that there was a Grist Mill there, but not a village.  Everything, the wood timbers, the stones, and other items were dismantled, numbered, transported, and then re-assembled at Life University.

  1. what a very interesting place, I cannot believe they rebuilt these structures. Last year on Kristen's birthday, she, Chris and I went on a hike in the woods where they showed me what was left of 'old' town of Hill that flooded and was also moved... crazy! Kristen wants to do a documentary on the town... of course!
