I had an opportunity to go to Lake Lanier, where there are a couple of Osprey nests. The Osprey —also called fish eagle, sea hawk, river hawk, and fish hawk -- is a fish-eating bird of prey. (Wikipedia).
It is amazing how and where they build the nests. One is atop of a bridge on Route 369 (Browns Bridge Road). There was a Blue Heron on the the shore as well.
I had to crop the pictures to get the close-up.
