We went to view the eclipse from Lake Lanier with David and Lucy Ceraso. We took a pontoon boat from the lower end of the lake over an hour north above Gainesville, Ga. We parked at an isolated beach, had a picnic, went swimming, enjoyed the eclipse and ended up at an Italian restaurant. We were the only ones in the area.
