Now for a break from Bar Harbor, Maine and back to the beauty of Gibbs Gardens. For those that are able to go there, note that the foliage of the Japanese Maples is about two weeks
away; last week of October and the first week of November. The foliage
picture was taken last year.
Linda and I went for a two
hour visit yesterday and found a few Water Lilies. I have never seen
the white one before. Instead of rising straight up from the lily pad,
the weight of it probably caused it to bend over and look right at us.
The
first white Water Lily is straight out of the camera, while the other
three have been post-processed. Both of the purple Water Lilies have
been processed.
AGAIN, IT IS BEST TO CLICK ON A PHOTO TO ENLARGE THEN FOR BETTER VIEWING.

I never thought I loved water lilies but they're gorgeous!
